Barriers Break'r story

Ben Loh has endured and experienced a tougher upbringing. From struggling to decide if the last ten dollars should be used for a pack of cigarettes or petrol to drinking water to fight hunger, to being shamed in front of the school for being late, to struggles in learning, to going through betrayals for his kindness. He had seen a lot through uncommon incidents. All of which and more, have sculpted and developed the person he is today - BARRIERS BREAK'R.

Bodybuilding at 34 years old
By the grace of God, Ben Loh’s smoking addiction which has chained him in bondage for over 2 decades, was broken and freed, indeed! It was from this miraculous experience that he realised health is the most valuable asset in the world and in a person’s lifetime. Embarked into the gym at the age of 34, and he never turned back. Competed in the Nationals Bodybuilding Contests for a period, won a few trophies, and was invited to conduct motivational workshops at places including National University of Singapore (NUS). Fast forward more than a decade later, he is seen and praised for looking younger than his actual age, fitter than ever, passionately living with lots of creativity and an unstoppable drive to motivate people wherever he goes!

Personal Development Student
In the process of developing a sustainable fitness and health program, he unearthed and progressed in time with useful life-skills that shaped a better version of himself. The goodness of it built sustainable growth in both his personal and working life. He realised to have a happy life is to have a meaningful life, by doing meaningful work. This is achievable when we are able to live the maximum potential of ourselves by discovering and building value for ourselves, that can add value to all the areas of our life. For most of us are hoping for peace and joy in living. Deep inside, there are remarkable human gifts in us. We just need to make a choice to be different and reach in to use it so we will be changed for the better.

Ben Loh specialised in Sales which led him to gradually develop in-depth Business Development and Management skills. He has two decades of Publishing experience, managed multiple years of Government-tendered and social community projects and authored a few published children’s picture books. He became a person-of-high value in the companies he served.

Mr. Ben Loh is a very organized and sincere individual. He plans in advance. He would approach us personally by coming down to our School to discuss his plans with us: how we can collaborate and coordinate together for high-quality projects. We enjoy working with him. (Dr. Michelle Chang)

Blessed to be a Giver
In his vast experience in Publishing since 2006, Ben Loh have managed book projects and represented many authors in publishing wonderful books for children and students, who have benefited greatly from. He acknowledged the value of family and organised successful family-centric events filled with educational elements partnering with educators, authors, social-minded companies and providing a platform for start-ups and young talents.

Social Community Contribution
With a servitude nature, Ben Loh was a Church worship leader, cell-group leader, and a missionary who served in the Riau Islands mentored by his Uncle-Pastor and inspired by his late philanthropic Grandfather in church building. It led to the Happy Tees and Happy Packs which are given on his mission trips with his lovely wife. The Happy Tees are donated to underserved children in India, Indonesia and Malaysia through partnering missionaries.

He is able to achieve all these because he is fit and healthy! Fitness and Health open a path of opportunities for Ben Loh which he is able to leverage to help many people to be healthier and fitter, so they can have a better lifestyle, and to be the best version of themselves to excel in work and life. The most important is, by being all those, people will be happy, knowing they are living a meaningful life doing meaningful work.
Today, he is a Progress Coach who published and speak on Progress-Leadership content in Churches, Special-interest & Youth groups, Orphanages & Shelters, Schools to help and build a community of BARRIERS BREAK'R to achieve a meaningful lifestyle with freedom and happiness!

The Happy Packs are given to underserved children as a form of blessing. The items in the Happy Packs are sponsored by generous donors. Appreciation to all individuals and organisations for your continual support. Every Happy Pack lights up the face of a child. They are able to utilise the items usefully in their daily lifestyle. Happy Packs are made with care by working with partners that adopt sustainability in their production and materials.
